About the role Our Early Childhood Teacher role is a three day per week, fixed term position until the end of Term 4 2026. This part-time opportunity is in our working in a 3-5year old mixed age group kindergarten program. You’ll lead, coach, and inspire a small team of educators in developing and implementing a high-quality pedagogical program by role modelling professional practice reflective of Gowrie Victoria’s purpose, philosophy, and values. You will do this by: Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community Coaching and mentoring educators to achieve individual and team goals Developing documentation that demonstrates intentional teaching and reflects children’s curiosity and learning Actively participating in, sharing, and embedding professional learning in the pursuit of higher standards We’re looking for: Minimum of 3 years experience as an ECT leading a program Experience managing a team, including performance management Experience with children and families for a trauma or vulnerable background Minimum three year Bachelor of Education in early education (or equivalent) and VIT registration Comprehensive knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012 and Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 Demonstrated ability to implement inclusive programs that are respectful of equity and diversity for every child What we offer: Competitive salaries 10 week leave model Three weeks personal leave (pro rata) Generous planning time Dedicated Educational Leaders at each service – a career pathway for you and support to continue to grow your learning as a professional Access to a free Employee Assistance Program Ready to make a genuine impact?
