Reporting directly to the Directors, this position will be split approximately 50% accounts (AP / AR) and 50% office management and administration . You will work closely with Project Managers and external suppliers and trades to ensure projects run smoothly from a financial and operational perspective. Client Details The client is a privately owned construction company based in Port Melbourne, delivering a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and local government projects across Victoria. Their work includes apartments, high-end chalets, sports pavilions, and community infrastructure projects, with active sites across Melbourne, Mansfield, and Mt Buller. Description End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Managing supplier and subcontractor relationships, including day-to-day communication Managing and tracking retention payments Preparing and managing payment schedules aligned to project milestones Processing receipts and maintaining accurate financial records Providing financial and administrative support to Project Managers Day-to-day office management and general business administration Identifying and improving processes and systems across finance and admin Profile Experience in a Finance & Administration, Office Manager, or senior accounts role Strong AP/AR skills within a construction or project-based environment preferred Comfortable managing suppliers, trades, and multiple stakeholders Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously Practical mindset - able to see what needs to be done and take ownership Confident communicator with strong organisational skills Job Offer Work-life balance built in , with autonomy to structure your hours Highly diverse, hands‑on role with no two days the same Autonomy and ownership to make the role your own Direct exposure to varied construction projects across Victoria Supportive, down‑to‑earth team in a privately owned business To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
