Senior or Associate Civil Design Engineer – Inner Melbourne You’ve been in the game long enough to know what good design looks like, and what it takes to deliver it. You’re across the detail, confident in your judgment, and ready to lead projects without being pulled into endless layers of management or chaos. This is a respected mid-sized consultancy working across some of Victoria’s most recognisable land development projects. This role offers real design ownership, a supportive team, and a chance to guide younger staff without letting go of the technical work you enjoy (we aren't all QA here but there will be some). You’re not interested in big-firm politics; just good people, good work, and being trusted to deliver In this role, you’ll: Lead technical delivery of land development projects across Victoria Oversee detailed design in 12D; you’ll guide the strategic work, not just check it Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth Coordinate across other disciplines Do some QA (unavoidable at your level) Be a trusted client contact, with the confidence to give sound, practical advice What you’ll bring: 6–26 years’ civil design experience, with a strong focus on land development Strong working knowledge of local authority standards and approval processes DAS accreditations.
