Role Responsibilities Produce accurate and timely engineering designs and fabrication drawings to meet project specifications Prepare mechanical and structural drawings using 3D design tools (e.g. Autodesk Inventor) Analyse and validate design integrity where required, including supporting calculations Manage engineering change notices in collaboration with Project Engineers Support production by responding to manufacturing and technical queries Maintain engineering databases and complete timesheets accurately Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with company standards and document control procedures Participate in project meetings and keep stakeholders informed on progress and issues Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and product knowledge Undertake additional engineering tasks as required by the Engineering Manager Candidate Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience Strong capability in producing fabrication drawings from concept or design briefs Proficiency in 3D CAD software, ideally Autodesk Inventor Experience conducting engineering and drafting checks Solid understanding of document control processes and technical documentation standards Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver work efficiently and accurately Effective communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and support others Commitment to continuous learning and professional development If this opportunity aligns with your experience and career goals, apply today or get in touch to learn more.
