An exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to take ownership of engineering projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. This role offers a blend of technical engineering, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement within a structured engineering environment. Role Responsibilities Manage end-to-end engineering delivery of allocated projects, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards are met Act as the key internal point of contact for all engineering-related project matters Review and validate technical proposals against contract specifications Develop and maintain key project documentation including schedules, drawing lists, calculation lists, and engineering files Coordinate and lead project meetings, including design reviews and progress updates, capturing and distributing outcomes Oversee engineering resources (engineers and draftspersons) to ensure efficient project execution Ensure all engineering drawings, calculations, and documentation meet project and company standards Manage engineering change notices, non-conformance reports, and technical documentation in line with quality systems Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and support production Participate in testing, inspection, and certification processes for project deliverables Contribute to design reviews, structural analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain accurate engineering records and ensure documentation is stored correctly Candidate Requirements Engineering degree (Mechanical or related) accredited by Engineers Australia Experience or strong exposure to project engineering within a manufacturing, heavy industry, or engineering environment Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across technical teams Strong understanding of engineering drawings, calculations, and design processes Exposure to design standards, codes, and structured engineering environments Effective communication skills with the ability to present and convey technical information clearly Strong organisational and project management capability Proactive mindset with leadership potential and the ability to drive outcomes High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety standards If this opportunity aligns with your experience and career goals, apply today or reach out for a confidential discussion.
