Sunshine Coast Need Drivers Immediately Your new company HAYS has partnered with a transport and distribution company that is well known to the local eye and which is also known for their great network. Our client takes pride in accessibility and accountability in providing a service within the bulk and express parcel services, ensuring they are recognised for their high standard of processing and customer service. They are now looking to continue to expand their team and looking for more drivers to assist with deliveries. Your new role As a new driver for our client, you will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to: Perform multi-drop deliveries and pick-ups of parcels and freight to customers and clients Follow assigned delivery runs and schedules efficiently Conduct pre-start vehicle checks Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and other fleet Use scanners to track deliveries Maintain accurate run sheets and delivery records Liaise with customers face-to-face Monitor and manage daily workload to meet delivery deadlines What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need the following: Valid Open Car Licence or MR Licence Strong time management and organisation skills Previous experience in a driving or delivery driver role Ability to work independently and meet daily targets Great communication and problem-solving skills to navigate delays or issues with dispatch teams Ability to work collaboratively between different departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations What you'll get in return For your dedication and commitment to this role, you will receive: Weekly Pay PPE Supplied upon commencement of the role Stable working hours Monday to Friday Ongoing work for 36 months with possible extension due to performance Opportunities for other available roles within Hays Recruitment What you need to do now If youre passionate about this role, click APPLY NOW or for more information and a confidential discussion or to find out about other opportunities in Manufacturing, contact Taylor Ngata at Hays on 07 3815 0799 or email [email protected]
