The Sydney office of our property practice consists of 6 partners and over 25 staff members. This busy team works with clients on a range of property matters. About the Role Our Sydney team is currently seeking a career legal assistant. Work that you would undertake will include: Printing, scanning, copying and arranging mail Booking meeting rooms for the team File organisation and management Arranging bank guarantee swaps Arranging for original documents to be put in and taken out of safe custody Preparation of bills and dealing with billing queries from clients Assisting with processing of expenses claims Opening and closing files (including archiving) Ordering general property and ASIC searches Drafting distribution letters Arranging document execution, including setting up Docusign envelopes Liaising with office services staff including IT, mailroom and catering The role is supporting a busy and high performing team and therefore the role requires someone with excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks. About You We are seeking a candidate upwards of 3 years’ experience with the following attributes: Proficiency in Microsoft Word Experience with end of month billing (Aderant experience will be highly regarded) Able to communicate in a professional manner with clients and colleagues Able to autonomously complete administrative tasks Develops good working relationships Excellent literacy Strong attention to detail Is organised and plans and prioritises work to meet deadlines Possesses a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for their work and uses their initiative Experience supporting a property team would be highly regarded Uses discretion and deals with sensitive information appropriately Experience with PEXA is not essential but would be considered advantageous Who we are Holding Redlich is a large national commercial law firm with offices across Australia.
