Contract Administrator – 9 Month Contract (ASAP Start) Location: Gosford, NSW Sector: Residential Construction (200 Apartment Development) We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a major residential project in Gosford on a 9-month contract to support the successful close-out of a 200-apartment development. This is a hands-on role focused on finalising all commercial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring a smooth transition through defects, completion, and handover. Key Responsibilities Manage all contract administration activities during the project close-out phase Administer and track defects and rectification works from a contractual perspective Prepare, assess, and negotiate variations and final accounts Support the delivery of external works, common areas, and public domain works (footpaths, roads, etc.) Process progress claims, payment schedules, and subcontractor payments Assist in managing subcontractor performance and compliance Ensure all documentation is complete for practical completion and final handover Maintain accurate financial tracking and reporting Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors About You Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within construction (residential experience preferred) Strong knowledge of contractual processes and project close-out Experience managing variations, claims, and final accounts High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills What’s on Offer Immediate start on a large-scale residential project Competitive contract rate Opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a high-profile development Supportive and collaborative team environment If you are a motivated Contract Administrator with strong close-out experience and are available for an immediate start , we encourage you to apply.
