ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on leadership role based in Melbourne's western suburbs overseeing warehouse operations across two sites, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch to support production and customer demands. You’ll take ownership of inventory accuracy, stock control, and ERP system management, driving high performance and continuous improvement across all warehouse functions. Leading a team of four, you’ll manage workloads, develop staff, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence. Working closely with internal teams and transport providers, you’ll coordinate logistics, optimise workflows, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery. DUTIES • Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations across two sites, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch • Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and effective ERP system management • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four direct reports, allocating resources to meet operational demands and performance targets • Coordinate logistics and dispatch activities, ensuring on-time, accurate delivery and strong stakeholder communication • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes, safety, and material flow to enhance efficiency and performance SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP systems (MS Business Central highly regarded) • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, ideally across multiple sites • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities • Current LF Forklift Licence and a strong understanding of safety, compliance, and operational best practices COMPANY CULTURE A collaborative and values-driven environment built on excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement, where teams take ownership and pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.
