ConsultANZ requires a Construction Project Manager for one of their clients based in Perth. This is a permanent full-time position Perth, WA Market related salary Main Duties Your responsibilities include: Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications. Preparing tenders and contract bids. Operating and implementing coordinated work programs for sites. Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety. Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors’ work. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors. Selecting tools, materials and equipment and track inventory. Meeting contractual conditions of performance. Reviewing the work progress on daily basis and prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. Negotiating terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses. Analyzing, managing and mitigating risks. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Requirements 10 years proven working experience in construction management in the foundation and construction industry. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards. Familiarity with construction management software packages. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”. Competent in conflict and crisis management. Leadership and human resources management skills.
