A well-established residential construction and development business is seeking an experienced Head of Construction to lead the delivery of volume housing and multi-unit residential projects. This role will suit a senior construction professional currently operating at Director / Construction Manager level. The position is responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent residential projects, driving performance across program, cost, quality, and safety, and providing hands-on leadership across site teams, trades, and consultants. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of residential projects including volume homes, townhouses, subdivisions, and multi-unit developments. Manage construction programs, budgets, cost control, and risk across multiple sites. Lead, mentor, and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards, WHS, and internal quality systems. Act as a senior point of contact for consultants, certifiers, and authorities. Proactively identify issues and implement practical, solutions-driven outcomes. Experience & Requirements 10 years’ residential construction experience, ideally within volume or multi-unit delivery. Current Builder’s Licence / Supervisor Certificate (Class 1 preferred). Strong technical knowledge with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Commercially astute with solid budgeting and program management capability. Confident leader with a hands-on, accountable approach.
