ConsultANZ is looking for a Piling Estimation Engineer for a leading geotechnical contractor in Australia. This is a national role focused on large piling and foundation projects. The main responsibility is estimating and pricing. Good knowledge of piling methods and pricing is essential. The role can be based in any office across Australia. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for piling and foundation works. Price and manage tenders for large civil projects across Australia. Review drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports to select the right methods. Understand and price different piling methods (bored, CFA, driven, etc.). Work closely with design and project teams to ensure accurate pricing. Assist with tender strategy and tender reviews. Maintain cost data and improve estimating tools. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or similar. 3–5 years’ experience in piling, foundations, or civil estimation. Good understanding of piling methods and costing. Able to read and interpret technical documents. Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness. Proficient in MS Excel and estimating tools. Design knowledge is a bonus, not essential. Good communication and teamwork skills. Benefits: $100k – $130k base super (negotiable based on experience). Permanent, long-term role. Work on major infrastructure projects nationwide.
