The Role Toll People are currently seeking a casual MR Driver for a busy client based in Mitchell ACT for their winter peak season. This assignment will start in April and run over the cooler months, finishing in approximately September 2026. Candidates will be notified if this timeframe varies with as much notice as possible. Delivering for a leading Australian energy retailer you will be responsible for the safe delivery of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers across Canberra and the surrounding region. The roster for these roles will be Monday to Friday weekends as required. Shifts start between 5:30am-6am. Applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, police check and provide a recent driving record. Key Responsibilities Deliveries of LPG cylinders Manually load and unload cylinders of gas (specialised trolleys are provided) Disconnect and connect gas bottles during delivery Complete all relevant paperwork Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times Weekend shifts as required Skills and Experience MR licence (minimum) Minimum 1 year driving experience in a multi drop delivery role Ability to keep up with the physical demands of the job (manually load/unload cylinders using the hydraulic lift/tailgate on the truck and using a trolley for deliveries) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills Commitment to work the duration of the seasonal assignment Benefits Above award rates Full training is provided Join an organisation with a strong focus on safety Uniform provided About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
