Civil Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor required for busy specialist contractor Your new companyMy client is a brilliant firm performing some highly interesting and technical projects across Australia. Their Victorian business is growing on the back of some major wins across some of Victoria's largest infrastructure projects. With 40 years experience, they perform a range of tunnelling solutions from micro tunnelling, to pipe jacking, shaft construction, stormwater, deep excavation construction etc. A team of 5 engineers in Melbourne, a growing team, with a strong, fun culture, they now require an experienced civil Contract Administrator with an understanding of civils. Having placed 3 engineers with them this year I know exactly how good they are- excellent feedback from all. Your new roleYou will be solely responsible for managing commercial aspects across 2-3 projects in Melbourne. Reporting to a commercial manager in QLD, who is a top bloke, you will be responsible for standard CA duties; Review progress claims Certify payments Assess variations (changes) Review extension-of-time (EOT) claims Determine delay costs What you'll need to succeedDue to the specifics of the client, MUST HAVE; please readA construction related degree You will have between 3-8 years experience in as relevant as possible, civil projects / understanding. Based in Melbourne, ready to go. Strong communication skills, confidence, and good banter for culture. Full Australian working rights- PR / Citizen ideally. Sponsorship may be available for perfect civil candidate- must be in Melbourne ready to start on contract initially.
