Verve Partners is partnering with a respected Australian manufacturer in the heavy equipment sector to find a Draftsman / Engineering Coordinator to join their team near Maitland, NSW. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, sales and production ensuring build information, drawings and Bills of Materials are accurate, organised, and ready for manufacture. What You'll Be Doing Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) from sales orders and project requirements Ensure production managers and team leaders have clear build information and assemblies Manage BOM engineering changes as projects evolve Maintain engineering documentation and ensure records are accurate and up to date Manage drawing revisions using Autodesk Vault to ensure proper revision control Maintain assembly structures and engineering data in NetSuite Produce supporting assembly drawings using Autodesk Inventor where required Work with sales and production to ensure builds move smoothly through the system Ideal Skills & Experience Experience in manufacturing, heavy transport, trailers or similar industries Experience using Autodesk Inventor/Vault or similar PDM system Strong understanding of assemblies and structured BOMs Experience managing engineering changes and production data Understanding of how engineering connects with ERP systems (NetSuite highly regarded) Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication with sales, production managers and workshop teams Next Steps If you have the relevant experience and would be interested in finding out more, apply now with your up to date CV or reach out to Matt on 0447 313 525 / [email protected] for a confidential chat.
