The Sydney market ranks second nationally by size and presents scope to lift performance through structured local engagement. Operations cover customer special orders, inter-store stock transfers and defined end-of-day controls for EFTPOS and cash handling. The outlet supports grassroots activity via sponsorships, club vouchers and in-store meetings that build repeat trade. Event access may be available to support relationship building. The team includes one reliable part-time assistant on set shifts, with flexibility to adjust coverage as required. The focus is consistent service, accurate administration and delivery to budget. Candidates who build relationships across clubs and circuits can leverage an established base and long-term customers to grow results over time. About the opportunity This full-time position runs day-to-day operations, sales delivery and site presentation while maintaining compliance and customer service standards. In this role, you will: Meet monthly sales budgets with 3–5% year-on-year growth Reach sales and gross profit targets Build local engagement with clubs, tracks and social channels Maintain accurate cash, EFTPOS and banking processes Open and close on time with reliable coverage You will schedule and lead one part-timer, approve time sheets, manage leave and sickness notifications and uphold OHS requirements. Duties include controlling inventory, managing special orders and inter-store transfers, keeping displays complete with clear pricing and resolving customer issues. Daily tasks include till and petty cash reconciliation, matching payments to reports and preparing banking weekly or when thresholds are reached. The employment journey includes in-store onboarding, a week of training in Melbourne, periodic presence at track or club events by direction and contribution to sponsorship or in-store club nights to drive traffic and repeat business. About you You are a consistent operator who follows through, comfortable running a single-site retail environment and supervising at least one team member. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Experience meeting monthly budgets and improving results by 3–5% Delivery of sales and GP targets with variance analysis and actions Cash handling, reconciliation, EFTPOS balancing and banking Stock control, special orders and inter-store transfers Scheduling, approving time sheets and managing rosters Local marketing via Facebook/Instagram and club engagement Current driver’s licence Willingness to complete medical and police checks What’s on offer This full-time role provides a defined site to run with clear targets, and established processes. Training support is provided in-store and in Melbourne. Commission is available for exceeding quarterly budgets and KPIs. A mobile phone plan is included.
