Deliver responsive, people focused administration Provide advice and solutions on testing issues Part time (0.3FTE) ongoing role based in Hobart About the opportunity The English Language Centre (ELC) provides a range of language programs including, as an approved centre for English language proficiency tests IELTS (International English Language Testing System). The Administration Officer, IELTS provides support to the Centre Examinations Coordinator in the delivery of the IELTS tests across Tasmania and is particularly active in supporting the delivery of IELTS tests in Hobart. What you’ll do: Co-ordinate extensive pre-test and post-test administrative duties in accordance with IDP IELTS policies and procedures. Roster casual test day staff and assist with on-the-job training where required. Provide advice to test takers on application procedures, IELTS procedures and policies. Liaise with external providers to troubleshoot test day issues with computer-based testing. Ensure the security and confidentiality of exam hardware, software, paper materials and test taker biometric and other information. What we’re looking for: Completion of a Certificate IV/Diploma level qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Commitment to customer service excellence and proactive contribution to continuous improvement of systems and practices. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and act independently within established guidelines, exercising sound. judgement and discretion whilst respecting confidentiality. Proven ability to work in a highly regulated and security-focused exams environment. Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills to complete tasks to standard and on time. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $91,488 pro rata comprising base salary within the range of $73,814 to $78,195 pro rata plus 17% superannuation.
