Location: Our Lady of Good Counsel - Gatton Start date: 20 April, 2026 Work hours: 18 hours per week Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum super (Pro-rata) (commensurate with experience) Status: Part-Time Fixed Term for the remainder of the 2026 school year Ad close date: 29 March, 2026 Contact: Clare Hogan | [email protected] About the opportunity In this position you will be responsible for: Providing targeted early learning support for Prepto Year 3 students Addressing the needs of a large Prep cohort with a high number of non-english speaking students Supporting classroom teachers through collaborative intervention practices Improving student engagement, learning outcomes and long-term educational trajectories Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
