OVERVIEW: Our client nationally recognised, award-winning architecture studio known for delivering high-quality commercial, mixed-use and residential projects across Western Australia. We are looking for a Design Lead to drive the front-end design of key projects. This role will see you leading the initial design, translating client briefs into compelling architectural concepts and ensuring high-quality outcomes from the earliest project stages. Working closely with clients and internal project leaders, you’ll help shape design direction, produce high-quality visual outputs and guide projects through early-stage design development. Key Responsibilities Lead schematic design and concept development across architectural projects Translate client briefs into innovative and practical design solutions Produce high-quality sketches, BIM models, layouts and presentation material Prepare and deliver design presentations, reports and project documentation Manage design performance across projects, ensuring quality, budget and programme targets are met Collaborate with clients, consultants and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes Support project leaders with design planning, coordination and delivery CRITERIA: Degree qualified in Architecture (or equivalent experience) 4 years’ post-graduate experience in architectural design Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Multi-residential Hotels or hospitality Commercial or workplace Townhouses or mixed-use developments Strong front-end design and schematic design capability Proven client-facing and presentation skills Strong proficiency in Revit, plus Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Excellent communication, design and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage time, prioritise work and drive projects forward BENEFITS: Ongoing training and professional development Personal development allowance Regular team and social events Attractive parental leave policy A supportive, collaborative studio culture If you would like to hear more, call Mallory Perkins on 0493 247 029 Or Paige Drummond on 0447 596 028 or send your CV to [email protected] Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
