This is a Ashurst Reach Legal Consultant – General Commercial/Employment lawyer - Sydney role with Ashurst based in Sydney, NSW, AU Ashurst Role Seniority - senior More about the Ashurst Reach Legal Consultant – General Commercial/Employment lawyer - Sydney role at Ashurst Description The Opportunity: 3-6 months Full time (hybrid) Sydney This is an opportunity to join a n organisation in the HR and workplace sector Build your portfolio legal career with this well-known business About You: You have strong expertise in general commercial law and employment law, which is essential You have experience with Fair Work Commission representation, which would be highly regarded You have experience in providing comprehensive legal support across an organisation's business operations You have experience with general contract review, drafting and negotiating service agreements and other commercial contracts You are comfortable with lease negotiations, providing strategic advice to the business, risk and compliance advice and management of commercial disputes You are familiar dealing with matters that refer to an organisation's Australian Financial Services Licence You are experienced in dealing with employment law matters and have the ability to work on a range of workplace relations issues You have the ability to hit the ground running and work closely with a fast paced team You have a minimum of 6 years' experience You have the ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business You have a current practising certificate You have the right to live and work in Australia Ashurst Reach: Ashurst Reach is Ashurst's dedicated flexible legal resourcing platform which provides the firm's clients and Practice Groups within the firm with access to a high quality talent pool of lawyers and paralegals.
