Key Responsibilities We are now seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Civil Engineering Technician to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality residential building and civil works. •Assist the civil engineer in developing project plans, site layouts, and construction drawings using CAD software. •Conduct field surveys to collect and analyze soil and topographic data, determining site characteristics, elevation profiles, and boundary measurements. •Perform laboratory and field tests on construction materials to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards. •Carry out calculations for material quantities, structural dimensions, and load specifications to support design and construction processes. •Collect data on materials, labor, and equipment to assist in preparing preliminary cost estimates and budget analysis, supporting cost control and resource allocation. •Inspect ongoing construction work to verify compliance with design plans, technical specifications, and applicable building codes; promptly identify and report technical deviations to ensure construction conforms to approved drawings. •Maintain accurate records of field observation logs, test results, and construction activities; prepare progress reports and update project files throughout the project lifecycle. What We're Looking For •Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline. •Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. •Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite. •Competency in reading and interpreting technical plans and drawing. •Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
