The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Transport Engineer to join our Planning & Mobility (PAM) team in Sydney. The team brings together expertise across transport planning, traffic engineering, intelligent transport systems, active transport, and transport modelling. You will contribute to some of the most exciting and high-profile transport projects in Sydney and across Australia, including metro, light rail, high-speed rail, bus rapid transit, ferry, cycling, and pedestrian initiatives. With a strong and sustained pipeline of work, this role offers exposure to complex, meaningful projects that shape communities. About You You will bring: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Transport Engineering with between 5-15 years of experience within transport planning and mobility. Experience working with government and/or private clients in NSW. Knowledge of relevant local standards and guidelines, including Australian Standards, Traffic Impact Assessment, and Transport Modelling Guidelines. Familiarity with modelling software such as Aimsun, VISSIM, and SIDRA. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS (desirable). Strong communication skills, including technical report writing and client engagement. The ability to support project delivery, proposals, and pursuits. In this role, you will: Contribute to the successful delivery of transport projects for a wide range of clients. Prepare high-quality technical reports, analyses, and proposals. Apply technical rigour to studies, including data analysis and review. Support and mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering development. Build positive, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.
