Azure DevOps Engineer - 12 Month Contract $1,000/day (inc. super) | Sydney | Hybrid We're working with a well-known Sydney-based organisation that is about to embark on a major greenfields cloud transformation, migrating core platforms and infrastructure into Microsoft Azure. They're looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to play a key role in building out the cloud platform from the ground up. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll help design and implement modern DevOps practices, automation and infrastructure as code as part of a large-scale migration program. This is a 12-month contract paying $1,000/day (inc. super) with hybrid working in Sydney. What you'll be doing Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure deployments Implementing Infrastructure as Code for Azure environments Supporting a greenfields migration of on-prem platforms into Azure Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployments Working closely with engineering, architecture and platform teams to embed DevOps best practices Improving reliability, scalability and security of cloud environments What we're looking for Strong experience working as a DevOps / Platform / Cloud Engineer Hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep is a non-negotiable) Strong automation and scripting skills Experience supporting cloud migrations or large transformation programs is highly desirable The environment Major greenfields Azure migration program Modern engineering practices and automation focus Collaborative engineering culture Long-term program of work If you're an Azure DevOps Engineer interested in working on a large-scale cloud transformation, feel free to reach out for more details.
