About the company: Our client is a large government organisation, tasked with making the lives of Australians safer within the community. Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement/Contract Admin or experience Project Support Officer with previous contracts experience, to support a busy contracts and procurement project team. Role is to start ASAP on a temporary basis for 3 months, with potential for further extension up to 12 months. About the role: Project administration and support to a busy contracts and procurement team Document, data and file management Procurement duties including ordering items, quotes, purchase order creation and approval, invoice coding and price checks Contract administration and variation Management of team shared inbox Correspondence, brief creation and minute taking Any other procurement or general administration duties as required About you: You will have previous administration or project administration experience including records management, drafting correspondence, minute taking and general team administration support You will have high attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously You will have strong time management and organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting competing deadlines. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels You will have extensive stakeholder engagement skills You will have intermediate to advanced IT skills, and strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook Mandatory requirements: You must hold a valid driver’s licence You must be flexible to undertake any out of hours work, or intrastate travel requiring an overnight stay as required.
