This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.72FTE), 55 hours per fortnight. About The School Beenleigh Special School, located in the northern end of the South East Region, provides an inclusive and specialised learning environment for students aged 5 to 17 years. The school supports students verified with intellectual disabilities, Autism, and other impairments, fostering their independence and confidence to thrive in various environments. About The Role As a Teacher Aide, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Include Supporting student learning across all curriculum areas, including literacy and numeracy. Assisting students with communication using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Providing support for students in learning, play, and self-care activities where required. Helping prepare and manage teaching materials and resources. Collaborating with teachers and staff to create a safe and supportive environment. This role would suit individuals who are passionate about education and supporting students with diverse needs to achieve their potential.
