Brisbane Based 9 Month Engagement $1300 Per Day We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Specialist or Program Technical Lead to support the technical readiness and delivery of a large complex mission critical operational system within a highly regulated environment. The system is a mission critical real time technology platform used to support the safe efficient and continuous management of air traffic. It integrates multiple software hardware network and data components and operates in a highly regulated safety critical environment where availability resilience and accuracy are essential. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary technical point of contact for all engineering and technology matters across the program Provide technical leadership and guidance at formal engineering review gates Lead and support system design development integration testing installation and verification activities Provide technical oversight during system testing and organisational acceptance of test outcomes Support site installation commissioning set to work and verification activities Manage technology change processes ensuring robust configuration management and change control Identify assess and communicate technical safety and delivery risks Create review and approve engineering artefacts as required Act as a trusted technical advisor providing guidance on system safety security and operational readiness Perform systems engineering and project tasks in accordance with relevant safety and system management frameworks Support additional project activities as required Skills and Experience: Strong background in systems engineering within complex safety critical or mission critical environments Experience working within regulated industries such as aviation defence rail or critical infrastructure Proven ability to guide design integration testing and acceptance activities for real time operational systems Strong understanding of configuration management change control and technical governance Ability to engage confidently with vendors engineers and senior stakeholders Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into business safety and risk impacts Mandatory Requirements: Australian Citizenship Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government National Security Clearance If this is something you’d like to be considered for click APPLY NOW or contact David at [email protected]
