The Role A rare and exciting opportunity exists for a Legal Counsel to join the Legal Team and play an integral role in providing legal expertise and support to the Group. Reporting to a respected and long term General Counsel as well as Head of Legal, whilst working as part of a small and collegiate team, you will play an essential part in the continued evolution as one of Australia’s most innovative and respected tech companies. The role will include providing legal advice and strategic business guidance on a diverse range of matters across the APAC businesses. Specifically, your role will include: assisting with and managing the review, drafting and negotiation of a range of general commercial agreements including Partner Agreements, IT/Software Agreements, Service Agreements, Marketing Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements advising the business on privacy, general contracts, consumer and competition, intellectual property, M&A transactions and finance-related matters as well as diverse areas including marketing, Data and IT security and procurement. The role will suit applicants with c 3-8 PQE in-house commercial advisory experience or applicants from top 20 firm background and experience or specialisation in either corporate M&A, Technology, Telecommunications or General Commercial.
