Temporary Admin / Receptionist – Accounting Firm Location: Cedric Street, Stirling, WA Contract: 3-month temporary contract (strong potential to become permanent) Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (30-minute lunch break) Work Arrangement: 100% office-based Start: 5th Jan 2026 About the Role We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organised Admin/Receptionist to join the front-of-house team at a well-established accounting firm in Stirling. This is a 3-month temporary role with a high likelihood of extension or becoming permanent . This position suits someone who enjoys a calm, steady-paced environment. The office is generally quiet, with light foot traffic and only a handful of incoming calls each day. You’ll be the welcoming face of the business while supporting the team with general administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Welcome clients and visitors and manage the front reception desk. Answer and direct incoming calls (low volume). Monitor and manage multiple Outlook inboxes. Provide general administrative support to accountants and team members. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, filing, and document preparation. Assist with basic office coordination and maintaining reception/common areas. Support client service tasks as required. Skills & Experience Previous experience in reception or front-of-house administration. Experience working in an accounting firm or professional services office is highly advantageous. Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (including handling multiple inboxes). Experience with Xero is beneficial but not essential. Confident communication skills with a friendly, conversational manner. Professional presentation suited to a corporate but relaxed office.
