Site Engineer – South Australia (Adelaide‑Based, FIFO as Required) Join a fast‑growing civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects About the Opportunity ROBAR Civil is expanding across South Australia, and we’re seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our Adelaide‑based team. While the role is primarily located in Adelaide , certain projects may require FIFO to interstate locations, with an additional salary uplift for remote works. You will work closely with Supervisors, Project Engineers and Project Managers to drive progress and deliver high‑quality, safe and efficient outcomes across major civil infrastructure projects. What You’ll Do Plan and coordinate daily construction activities Set out works in alignment with drawings and specifications Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, supervisors and site managers Manage on‑site documentation and reporting Support WHS compliance and site safety initiatives Track costs, variations and project progress Interpret engineering drawings and contribute to methodologies Oversee delivery of materials and equipment Australian on‑shore civil construction experience is essential. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 3–5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer with practical exposure to civil infrastructure projects Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Client interface experience, including responding to information requests, participating in progress meetings and supporting commercial clarity Experience working within both target cost and lump sum project environments, with an understanding of cost controls, risk management and commercial performance A proactive mindset with a commitment to developing your career Strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork Ability to provide three professional references from three separate companies The Robar Way We take pride in both our work and our people.
