Busy Tier 2 builder with a very strong pipeline of work are looking for a Contracts Administrator to work on a $100m project in Sydney. Key Responsibilities Supporting the project team in the preparation and execution during the procurement of subcontractors and implementing the project procurement strategy Negotiate and review subcontract tenders including preparation of tender comparison for review Perform assessment of variations, negotiation of progress claims, and the agreement of final accounts Prepare, check and review subcontractor packages, scopes of work, lettings and procurement schedule Management of client and subcontractor claims process in accordance with the contract Understand and manage subcontractor contractual risk Manage and assess variations, cash flow and liaison with major subcontractors Manage contract finalisation including defects, manuals and variations Co-ordination and compilation of monthly reports Assist the Project Manager with matters relating to project costs reports Required Skills Minimum 3 years experience as a Contract Administrator within the Sydney Tier 1/2 sector in Sydney. Tertiary qualification, preferably Building or Engineering or Trade qualification with further relevant education New Build experience is also preferable Aptitude to implement processes and procedures, promote positive commercial outcomes and reduce commercial risks Excellent negotiation, written and communications skills Dynamic, passionate and a team player Preferably advanced with Procore Ability to build and maintain client relationships If this is the role for you please click apply or contact Alex Mitchell: 0449991120 or [email protected]
