Description Duration: 12 months contract (with completion bonus) Responsibilities Key duties and responsibilities Relationship Management: • Contact point for all communication leading to resolution of application and claims submission issues and requirements to the internal workbench system • Foster an atmosphere of open communication with clients by delivering messages in a timely manner that protects a continued business relationship, manages client expectations effectively, and tailors the communication approach to reach the intended audience • Responds appropriately to inquiries regarding items such as application status, requirements and claims inquiries • Supports and builds collaborative, relationships with the team and across the department/ function/division • Notification of workbench system issues to IT, with regular updates to the team • Liasing with Chief Medical Officer to facilitate advice to clients Administrative: • Performs administrative/case management functions relative to underwriting and claims management • Piloting cases into the internal workbench system including requirements to manage encryptions set by client security processes • Reporting internal trends and client information including service level reports, quality of referral data analysis and Chief Medical Officer referrals • Develops a working knowledge of the products and services offered with solid knowledge of all lines of business sold through out client relationships • Drives innovation by identifying discrepancies and inefficiencies in work and suggests new approaches to solving problems • Ad hoc assistance to Claims and Underwriting Qualifications Essential • Relevant working experience in insurance or administration • Commercial business sense and experience • Experience of using Microsoft Outlook and Excel • Experience of using Microsoft Access and PowerPoint Personal Competencies: • Strong interpersonal skills • Self-motivated team player • Excellent planning and time management skills • Excellent analytical skills • Self-started within initiative, pace drive and commercial nous. • Flexible “can-do” attitude with an interest in gaining broader business experience. • Intermediate Word and Excel skills • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received by all stakeholders, including customers and associates. • Exceptional skills in managing multiple tasks, projects simultaneously, including the ability to handle changing priorities. • Exceptional ability to work well within team • Exceptional ability to foster a teamwork and customer service focused environment.
