About the Role We are seeking experienced civil and bridge maintenance professionals to support ongoing infrastructure projects based out of Wagga Wagga . These roles contribute directly to the upkeep, rehabilitation and construction of bridge and drainage assets across regional NSW. All positions operate on a 9 day fortnight roster, with 8.5 hour days (76 hours per fortnight). The majority of project work involves travelling and camping away from the depot, with overtime regularly available. Accommodation is provided when working away from Wagga . Location: Wagga Wagga Start Date: ASAP (pending relevant checks) End Date: 30/05/2026 (strong potential for extension) Roster: 9 day fortnight Hours: 76 hours per fortnight Bridge Worker PP4 – $43.52 per hour super (PAYG) OT Accomodation MR Truck Driver PP6 – $45.69 per hour super (PAYG) OT Accomodation Construction Carpenter PP9 – $46.07 per hour super (PAYG) OP Accomodation These roles require approximately 90% camping away from home . Key Responsibilities Bridge Worker (PP4) Undertake general bridge and culvert cleaning, sweeping and site housekeeping Perform painting works on concrete, timber and steel structures Assist with formwork and falsework for bridge components including kerbs, slabs, wing walls and base slabs Carry out chainsaw and adze works on large timber bridge elements Complete steel fixing and minor concrete works Maintain tools, plant and site sheds in safe and serviceable condition Support crew members in daily maintenance and construction activities Follow safe work procedures and traffic management requirements MR Truck Driver (PP6) Safely operate Medium Rigid vehicles in accordance with road and site regulations Tow trailers within rated capacity of the vehicle Load, secure and transport plant, materials and equipment Operate vehicle loading crane (where licensed and trained) Complete daily vehicle checks, maintenance records and work documentation Assist with bridge maintenance and labouring duties as required Communicate effectively with supervisors and site crews Adhere to fatigue management and heavy vehicle compliance requirements Construction Carpenter (PP9) Perform trade-qualified carpentry works on bridge and drainage structures Construct, install and dismantle formwork for structural concrete elements Repair and replace timber bridge components including girders, piers and kerbs Interpret construction drawings and specifications Undertake bridge rehabilitation and upgrade works Operate power tools and specialised carpentry equipment safely Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety procedures Mentor junior crew members where required About You Bridge Worker (PP4) Demonstrated experience in civil construction or bridge maintenance Competency using battery hand tools and general construction equipment Current Construction Industry White Card Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence Workers on Foot (WOF) card Willingness to obtain additional tickets or licences as directed Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and camping away Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
