Role Responsibilities Manage Event Inbox Manage and coordinate Campaign Collateral Support the event Manager with managing national invoicing / budgeting Support Events team with national projects e.g. event toolboxes, processes and procedures Coordinate training - event management platforms Organise / manage event campaign folders and files Manage, order and distribution of national supporter gifts Support Event Coordinators with managing event registrations for Capital City Events Coordinate all events team stationary supplies Manage national events calendar Attend and coordinate event meetings as required - creation of agendas and minute taking to ensure wider teams and stakeholders are kept up to date and informed Support event coordinators with administrative event logistics of Tier 1 & 2 Events Qualifications and Experience Minimum 3 years proven experience in a similar role Proficient within database management & comfortable with latest relevant software & web based communication applications Familiar with office management procedures and basic accounting principles Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks Excellent time management & organisational skills Attention to detail Great verbal and written communication skills Flexible working hours (during event periods) Capabilities Display Resilience Does not give up when faced with obstacles Offers opinions and works through challenges constructively Remains open to new ideas and approaches Communicate Effectively Listens to others when they are speaking and asks appropriate, respectful questions Prepares written material that is well structured and easy to follow by the intended audience Clarifies own understanding Work Collaboratively Works as a supportive and cooperative team member, shares information and acknowledges the contribution and support of others Engages and contributes to team activities including discussion Engages with others to share information and solve issues and problems jointly Demonstrate Accountability Takes responsibility and is accountable for own actions in line with TSA policies and procedures Completes tasks within requirements Shows care and respect in the efficient use of TSA funds, property, equipment and resources Develop Capability Seeks and is open to feedback on own capability and competence Contributes to identifying team training Engages in opportunities to learn The Salvation Army is an Equal Opportunity Employer who provides an inclusive work environment and embraces the diverse talent of its people.
