Our client has a wide range of projects in the pipeline across local government, state government, renewable energy and urban development. Looking for a seasoned Civil Engineer to lead a dynamic team and make an impact in SEQ projects in their Toowoomba-based office. If you have a minimum of 7 years of experience, are RPEQ registered, possess a strong ability to lead a variety of projects, and a energetic team, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion. Oversee the design and execution of civil projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. Prepare and review project documentation, including plans, reports, and specifications. Conduct site inspections and quality control to ensure project integrity. Manage project budgets and timelines effectively. Mentor and develop junior staff members. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, recognised by Engineers Australia Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) accreditation. At least 3 years Australian experience in civil engineering design delivery. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in civil engineering. Proven track record in managing and delivering successful urban, or infrastructure projects. Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams. Proficiency in relevant software and design tools - 12D/ Civil 3D Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Demonstrated knowledge of local regulations and codes.
