You aren't inheriting a mess of a project. From there you'd get the chance to run your own larger projects as a CA before progressing into a junior PM role. You'll be part of a business of 100 with direct and daily interaction with the GM and PM's who have been with the company 10 years, so you'll be well supported and will have a clear idea of the direction of the company and of your career.
