About the role In this role, you will deliver high‑level psychosocial services to patients, families, and carers within our Orthopaedic wards, with opportunities to rotate into other clinical areas based on service needs. You will bring extensive hospital-based Social Work experience, a commitment to evidence‑based practice, and a passion for supporting consumers through complex health journeys. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Undertake high level Social Work duties within the Orthopaedic / NOF clinical program with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. * Integrate evidence based practice to design, implement and evaluate interventions and apply independent professional judgement and high level problem solving skills to a complex caseload to achieve positive outcomes which meet both individual client goals and organisational goals * Identify and apply policy knowledge to support continuous improvement of service delivery within the Orthopaedic wards and contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care, with minimal supervision.
