Our client, an established specialty food retailer located in Sydney is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead their artisan food store. This is a hands-on management role suited to someone with strong retail leadership experience and knowledge of handling and maintaining imported food products within a specialty retail environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily store operations Maintain quality and storage standards for imported food products Cut, wrap, and present products to high retail standards Deliver exceptional customer service and detailed product knowledge Train, supervise, and mentor retail staff Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace regulations Requirements: Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar leadership role Strong knowledge of specialty or imported food products Understanding of proper handling and storage of imported goods Experience training and supervising staff Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment This position may be suitable for employer sponsorship for the right candidate.
