ABOUT MIRRABROOK Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning and reflecting the philosophies inherent in that approach, Mirrabrook Early Learning Centre provides high quality care to children aged 0 - 6 years. The Centre operates 50 weeks per year, five days per week, between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm and caters for 80 children in a purpose-built facility. We are seeking a passionate and professional Advanced Child Care Educator to join our dedicated and inspiring team. This is an opportunity to work in a learning environment where collaboration is encouraged, professional practice is respected and your contribution is valued. This is a permanent, full-time position, for immediate start. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The successful applicant will have Qualification in Early Childhood Education (Cert III, Diploma, or an ACECQA approved equivalent). Current Working with Children’s Check. UpToDate First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, and Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain). Have minimum 2 years’ experience as an Advanced Child Care Educator or similar position. Understanding of contemporary child safe practices. Ability to work in a team environment and ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff and children.
