This role suits someone who enjoys the analytical side of construction—interpreting documents, understanding risk, and pricing work that stands up long after the tender is submitted. You won’t be buried in churn. Instead, you’ll work on considered bids, realistic programmes, and projects that are properly scoped. The estimator is respected here—not treated as a number generator, but as a key voice in how projects are shaped and won. About the Role Based South of River, you’ll take ownership of estimating commercial projects valued up to $50M , working closely with construction and leadership teams to produce accurate, defensible tenders. You’ll use CostX as your primary estimating tool and apply commercial judgement to pricing, value engineering, and risk identification—well before a project reaches site. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost plans and tenders for commercial projects up to $50M Complete take-offs and pricing using CostX Analyse drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify risk and opportunity Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to validate pricing Support value engineering and tender clarifications Work collaboratively with construction teams during pre-construction About You Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator within the WA market Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and costs Confident using CostX for take-offs and estimating Analytical, detail-focused, and commercially minded Comfortable challenging assumptions and asking the right questions Perth-based with full Australian working rights What’s On Offer $150K–$190K Super , depending on experience South of River office location Exposure to well-structured commercial projects up to $50M Respectful, professional working environment Long-term role with a stable builder and consistent pipeline Apply Now If you enjoy estimating that values accuracy, judgement, and thinking ahead, this role is worth a conversation.
