Role details The Allied Health Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a casual basis. Your opportunity Our casual staff provide assistance with planned/unplanned leave for administration officers within Allied Health and Clinical Support Stream. As an integral member of a professional team, assist in the provision of administrative and client focused service to support patients, relatives, visitors and multi-disciplinary health care providers to whom the position liaises. About the Team Allied Health and Clinical Support Stream provides a diverse range of services to the MHHS. Departments within the Stream include Allied Health, Breast Screen, Clinical Measurements Community Based Support Services, Support Services, Oral Health, Pharmacy and Medical Imaging. About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
