Your new role: This role provides essential, patient-focused administrative support to the QEII Jubilee Hospital Emergency Department, ensuring timely, accurate and confidential service delivery in a dynamic, 24-hour clinical environment. * Provide front-line administrative support including emergency registrations, admissions, patient interviews and data entry into hospital information systems * Deliver responsive, customer-focused service to patients, carers, clinical staff and external agencies while maintaining privacy and confidentiality * Support departmental operations through after-hours functions such as Health Records, Switchboard Services and Emergency Code procedures About you: About You You are a calm, organised and service-driven professional who thrives in a busy healthcare setting and understands the importance of accuracy, empathy and teamwork. * Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality administrative or customer service support, ideally in a health or emergency environment * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage respectfully with diverse patients, families and staff under pressure * Proven ability to prioritise tasks, work autonomously and adapt quickly to changing rosters, workloads and team dynamics * High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and Queensland Health policies and procedures Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
