About the Role This is a casual position within our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service. Working under the guidance of the OSHC Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator, you will assist in providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment that supports each child’s learning and wellbeing. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive school environment. The successful candidate may be working towards a relevant qualification or yet to commence formal training in the field. Casual hours are available on weekdays between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, with flexibility to suit your lifestyle and availability. Key Responsibilities Under the direction of the leader: Supervising and supporting children’s learning, play, and development in a safe and inclusive environment Assist the delivery of the program in line with relevant frameworks, policies, and procedures Maintain required records and carry out administrative tasks in a timely manner Communicate positively and effectively with staff, children, and families What We’re Looking For Essential Current paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) Preferred Certificate III in Children’s Services (OSHC) or equivalent, or currently working towards A developing understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time, Our Place (training and support provided) Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain Solid written and verbal communication skills Current Child Protection training, or willingness to complete prior to commencement How to Apply To apply, please submit your cover letter and curriculum vitae, demonstrating how you meet the requirements of the Position Description by clicking on the Apply button provided.
