Our Opportunity To support ongoing growth within Galintel, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to join our Derrimut VIC operations. Reporting to the Branch Supervisor, this full time permanent role is responsible for providing hands-on leadership in the warehouse while ensuring safety, efficiency and service excellence. This role combines leadership and operational involvement, overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, managing stock accuracy, supporting transport scheduling, and developing the warehouse team. Your Duties Will Include but Are Not Limited To Lead and coordinate warehouse activities including picking, packing, loading and unloading Ensure safe and timely dispatch of products, meeting DIFOT targets Process goods receipting, quality checks, and manage non-conforming items Execute inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records Create and manage picking slips, delivery dockets, manifests and dispatch documentation Support Branch Supervisor with transport scheduling and freight bookings Supervise, coach and support warehouse staff, labour hire personnel and contractors Maintain WHS compliance including toolbox talks, inductions and incident reporting Implement 5S standards, company procedures and continuous improvement initiatives Identify operational problems and work with management to implement solutions The Right Person To be successful in this role, you will bring: Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse or transport operations role Certificate III in Warehouse Operations or higher Forklift licence LF and a valid Australian drivers licence Strong leadership capability with a hands-on, proactive approach Proficiency in Pronto and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills Experience in building, construction or industrial environments highly regarded Commitment to safety, quality and customer service What NEPEAN Offers Secure full-time permanent employment Family-oriented and values-driven business Supportive and collaborative team environment Employee Assistance Program with wellbeing support Agile and dynamic workplace Genuine career development opportunities across the NEPEAN Group This role offers a competitive remuneration package reflective of your skills and experience.
