The Structural Engineer Role With a strong and consistent pipeline of work, we are looking to recruit an experienced Forensic Engineer with inspections or residential design engineer experience to join our client's team. This role offers variety across inspections, forensic reporting, and certified design work, with the opportunity to further develop your technical capability within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for undertaking site inspections, preparing technical and forensic reports, and completing certified structural designs. You will also provide technical input to internal teams, support junior engineers, and contribute to maintaining high technical and quality standards across projects. Structural Engineer Duties. Cracked building inspections and reporting. Causation reports for insurance purposes. Commercial solar panel reviews. Wall removal designs. Commercial building inspections. Structural site inspections and preparation of technical reports. Provide technical and forensic advice to internal and external stakeholders. Review the work of other engineers for accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Structural Engineer Skills and Experience Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. Minimum of 4 years experience Understanding of the BCA and Australian Standards. Experience in custom residential design including sub-floor design, raft slabs, and stick-framed roofs.
