Senior Software Engineer – C++ $130-150K Super Melbourne – Western Suburbs The Company Our Melbourne based client are an established organisation who develop automated robotic systems for mass production. They have partnered with a number of industry leading organisations in the industrial automation sector as they navigate unprecedented growth. Responsibilities Derive software system requirements, define test requirements, and lead system design and system requirement reviews. Design, develop and test software programs written in C++, Rust and other programming languages and produce related documentation. Design, develop and test databases, scripts, plugins, and user interfaces. Implement error handling logic, evaluate software against specific test plans, and report results in terms of software verification and validation. Collect and analyse data relating to software systems for performance improvement. Liaise with third-party software suppliers and other internal/external stakeholders to deliver projects into production. Your Background/Experience Tertiary qualifications across Software Engineering or Computer Science. 7 years’ experience programming in C++ and/or Rust and its related frameworks. Strong experience in designing and implementing distributed architecture. Strong knowledge and practical experience in MVC service development. Solid understanding of backend development principles, data structures, and algorithms. Dockers & Kubernetes experience. What’s On Offer?
