We’re partnering with a well-established financial services organisation undergoing a significant uplift of their cloud and platform capabilities. They’re looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension. This role will see you working on modern, secure, and highly available cloud environments that support critical financial systems and digital platforms. Day to day duties include: Designing, building, and supporting secure and scalable AWS infrastructure Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation) Supporting cloud migrations, platform enhancements, and optimisation initiatives Working closely with DevOps and engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines Ensuring environments meet security, compliance, and governance requirements Troubleshooting complex cloud and platform issues across production and non-production environments Contributing to best practices across automation, monitoring, and reliability Key Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience across core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch) Proven experience building and managing environments using Terraform or CloudFormation Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity in AWS Experience working in regulated or financial services environments (highly regarded) Familiarity with container platforms (EKS, ECS, Docker) is a bonus Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in fast-paced delivery environments How to apply If you are well suited to this opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
