Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Panel Electrician / Solar Installer to join our growing team in Cairns. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of residential and commercial solar PV systems, ensuring all work is completed to Australian standards and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Install solar PV systems (panels, inverters, batteries) on residential and commercial sites Perform electrical wiring, testing, and commissioning of solar systems Diagnose and repair faults in existing solar installations Read and interpret electrical and solar system schematics Ensure compliance with Australian electrical and WHS standards Complete job documentation and compliance reports Work collaboratively with installers, electricians, and project managers Provide basic customer guidance on system operation when required Requirements Valid Australian Electrical Licence (QLD) Previous experience installing solar PV systems Strong knowledge of solar inverters, batteries, and PV components Ability to work safely at heights White Card Current driver’s licence Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Stable, full-time employment Opportunity to work in the fast-growing renewable energy sector Supportive and professional team environment Ongoing training and career development
