About the Opportunity: As our Warehouse Team Leader (3PL Operations) , you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our logistics and distribution operations while meeting the unique requirements of our 3PL partners. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone stepping into their first supervisory position. Rather than managing a large team, you’ll focus on overseeing 3PL warehouse operations, coordinating workflow, championing safety, and ensuring absolute inventory accuracy across all warehouse movements. You’ll lead by example on the floor, working closely with the Warehouse Manager and operational teams to ensure processes are followed, standards are upheld, and 3PL commitments are consistently met. What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting and promoting a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WH&S policies, SOPs and SWPs Reporting all incidents, injuries and hazards to the Warehouse Manager within 24 hours Providing day-to-day operational guidance and oversight to ensure safe work practices are followed Supporting training and competency requirements, including licences and safe work processes Overseeing 3PL warehouse activities with a strong focus on inventory accuracy Investigating inventory discrepancies and escalating findings with constructive recommendations Coordinating resources for 3PL container unloading and warehouse movements Identifying damaged stock and working with the Warehouse Manager on next steps Contributing to Toolbox Talks and encouraging open communication and feedback Identifying efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities within 3PL operations. What You'll Bring: Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in warehouse and distribution operations Exposure to acting supervisor, senior operator or step-up leadership duties A strong safety-first mindset with practical WH&S experience Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability Ability to follow processes, improve efficiencies and support operational outcomes Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using ERP/WMS systems Why join Winning Services?
