About the Role We are recruiting for our client, seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen security across cloud, application, and infrastructure environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex security challenges while guiding the business through best practice, uplift projects, and proactive risk reduction. Key Responsibilities Conduct vulnerability assessments, audits, and remediation activities Advise IT and business stakeholders on cyber risks and controls Configure and optimise tools such as Microsoft Defender, Entra ID and Sentinel Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation Support compliance obligations including frameworks like PCI‑DSS and Essential 8 About You Proven experience across cloud, application and infrastructure security Strong capability with M365 security tools, Defender, Sentinel or SIEM platforms Skilled in networking, endpoint protection and identity & access management Ability to communicate complex issues to non‑technical stakeholders Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) highly regarded About the Company Our client is a well‑established Australian organisation with a strong operational presence and a focus on delivering secure and reliable digital services.
