This role is hands-on and infrastructure-focused, supporting critical systems across Microsoft technologies, virtualisation, and storage platforms. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016–2022) Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) Maintain and support VMware virtual infrastructure Administer and monitor NetApp storage systems Perform system patching, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting Support security hardening and compliance with Defence standards Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in a Systems Engineer / Systems Administrator role within an enterprise environment Strong hands-on experience with: Windows Server Active Directory & Group Policy VMware virtualisation Microsoft 365 and Azure AD Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Desirable Skills Experience with Linux systems NetApp storage PowerShell or scripting experience Experience in Defence, Government, or other secure environments Security Requirements Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a current NV1 security clearance.
